Email stating that they've extended my current offers for 18 months and with no change to my contract end date etc. Strange!

Read the small print, are you sure they are not trying to get you to sign up for a new contract? That's what my isp has just tried, small price rise or sign up for a fixed contract again for 18 months, e

Even the fine print at the bottom doesn't have any catches.. just seems strange! Why?! It's good... just seems too good! Haha. How cynical!

I got a letter a few months back giving me 5 years of no price increase, no contract and no small print so hopefully I won't see the price increases coming up (currently pay £33 for everything and multi room except movies)

Wow that's good! (Better even!) how strange though. You wonder why!

probably because I haggle every single year and they have had enough

Actually that's exactly what I do, likely they're giving themselves a break from us!

Eh? How can they extend the offer for 18 months with no change to contract end date?

Hello ****** ******,
Great news! Your current Sky offers (excluding Multiscreen) have been automatically extended for 18 months. There's no new contract or upgrade required and your package stays exactly the same. It has all been taken care of, there is no need to get in touch.

Only problem is I cancelled and moved to Virgin Media last week.

Exactly! It's odd. It's like a random good will gesture.. even though they've done nothing wrong (to me)...

So I'm not the only one! (Guess you slipped through the net though if you cancelled last week!)

Hi, I got this same email and then posted letter stating the same. But when I log in to sky account I find no mention of it? Did your online account show anything related to the email/letter?

No I have to admit I had the letter but couldn't see any mention online on my account related to it. I actually meant to go on the online chat to confirm but got busy then completely forgot! I might do that today!

Got 5 year increase through the post a few weeks back.

£12pm for box set bundle (so no sport/movies).
Was paying £6 a month too for multiscreen but just gave notice on this as due to go to £12 next month. Any multiroom deals about?

what percentage discount are you getting with these emails?
#15
Should be £36 and I am paying £12 so 66% off.
