sky fibre pro

I'm currently with Sky for TV (Movies Sports and Family in HD) and was thinking of moving from my current ISP (Plusnet) to Sky Fibre Pro. I see they have deals on Fibre Unlimited but do they have any deals on Fibre Pro? Anyone had any sort of deal on Fibre Pro from them?

Thanks

I recently got Fibre Unlimited and was planning on upgrading to Fibre Pro but was told there was no deals on the Pro package, only of the Unlimited package. Which with sports is only £10 a month for the fibre which currently for me is fast enough.

As j0nnymoe said, they don't do deals on the Pro version, only Unlimited. The deals are pretty good though, I can't remember what I got exactly, but upgrading from their normal Unlimited Broadband to Fibre ended up costing me an extra £5 a month I think (only have telephone and Internet, not TV from them).

Also, the Unlimited is meant to be limited to 38Mb/sec, but I routinely see 45 - 50Mb/sec when I test on several speed checkers (and even the router reports similar data throughput). Comes in handy because all of our TV/Music is streamed through Netflix/iPlayer/Spotify etc so when several people are on the go at once, it's nice to have enough bandwidth available to not have things slow down to a crawl.

Interesting, it would've been easier to swap to Sky and have all my bills in one. I will probably give them a call later on in the week to see if anything is possible deal wise on Pro as a last resort but seems it's a no goer. The Unlimited deal is interesting but my exchange can give me full 80/20 and have been on this speed for almost 2-3 years now and as my household is quite active with the internet I don't feel downgrading is an option.

I got a deal on the fibre pro for 12 months, I just said I was not happy with the speed I was getting, so instead of them putting me back down to the 40/10 they kept me on the 80/20 for £20 a month for 12 months .

That's interesting to know, Might have to phone sky and see what they can do for me on the pro
