Hey
Just wondering if anyone has any idea of the best multi-room deal at the moment. I have a normal sky box downstairs which I got about 2 months ago, so im in a 12 month contract.
I would now like to have a sky box/ sky+ box fitted upstairs so I can watch different channels to my parents, they are willing to pay the £10 per month charge, but dont really want to pay much for box.
Looked on the website and they give free installation, £10 month sub, but you have to pay £100 for the sky plus box! Some people get the sky plus box for free/£49. any ideas?

Ring them and tell them you're going to Virgin as they are offering a great deal on a second box and they'll sort you out providing you're not still under contract. (If you are they'll probably say tuff!)

Yep im under a 12 month contract, done 3 months of it I think. I would happily pay £49 for a recon sky plus box and pay the £10 month sub, do you think sky would do that?

Yes, i'd have thought so as they'd recoup they're money on the additional £10. Worth a phone call. 08702 404040 (Freephone ones don't work)

Or if I bought a sky plus box off ebay, would they install it for free, or would I have to get a box off them.

You'd have to pay at least a £60 call out charge plus they'd charge you for materials. So you're best off going through them as they also need to change the receiver to allow 2 seperate signals.
