I got the new hub from sky 2weeks ago and the wifi connection to device's is terrible eg tablets phones ps4. when i do a speed test on the device's it says 30 mb download speed which is the same as the old hub. The problem is internet pages are slow to load up. you tube videos buffer .ps4 slow download speed. any ideas whats going on.thanks

try changing the channel on the Wi-Fi signal you may be on the same frequency as another router nearby

I downloaded a wifi analyser and changed the channel made no difference.

I had the exact same problems as you.

Try re-booting from the Sky diagnostics page - it worked for me;

The Sky hub Web address is something like

http://192.168.0.1

Log in then go to the maintenance tab then diagnostics.

Scroll down to the bottom and click on reboot.

It made enough difference for everything to connect.

+1 for Kens suggestion. Boxes from a number of ISPs seem to be suffering from this when first powered up; and several have been fixed by a full power down, wait a minute, then power up.

Could several of the big ISPs be buying and rebadging the kit from the same maker??
