I am looking to purchase either a Chromecast or a Amazon Fire stick. I really want to be able to watch Skygo on it and wondered if this will work on the Fire Stick? I am pretty sure it doesnt work on the Chromecast. Any information would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

With the chromecast, you can cast your tablet/phone screen via the chromecast to your tv and watch that way? Cheaper option at £19 currently...

The SkyGo app blocks any attempt to do that.

The only way I've been able to do this before was to go to 'cast' my full laptop screen to the Chromecast and then watch via a web browser. Not the best way to do it as it can be a bit jumpy sometimes.

I'm actually going to look at getting a Miracast device to stream my desktop screen to the TV which I think is smoother than using a Chromecast.

Can you cast a Web page to a miracast device though? Because unless your laptop supports wi-di you won't be able to mirror the whole screen to it.

sky go doesn't have chromecast support? that is so rubbish when nowTV does support it. Only reason to have sky is for sports.

No sky go via Chromecast or Fire TV
Only supported on mobiles, tablets, laptop/PC and games consoles

You could pick up a cheap xbox360, will run skygo and various others together with the odd game that takes your fancy. Its really the only reason I still have my 360 set up. Also just get a cheap media remote and its pretty decent
