Yes, I seen this but only has 32g hard drive and 2g ram whereas the Curry's V3-112p has 500hd 4 g ram and touch screen
I wanted to spend around £ 200 ish for a decent spec

The Curry's is a regular hard drive though of 500MB, where-as the one mentioned has an SSD drive (which is far faster and superior). With regards to the drive size, it depends which is most important to you - speed or storage capacity.

check out the HP stream 11

Have you thought about the tablet route?
imo anything less then 13" is better off as a tablet, you can always add a bluetooth keyboard

I'd go for the Acer. You can always upgrade a HDD/SSD but you're stuck with the CPU on most Netbooks. Just remember that the memory is DDR3L which isn't the same as DDR3 Sodimm as it uses a lower voltage for the ram, so DDR3 may or may not work correctly on this Netbook.

Always go for the best CPU over RAM and storage.

Curry's one. See http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Celeron+N2840+%40+2.16GHz&id=2388 vs http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Pentium+N3540+%40+2.16GHz&id=2408 Might be other Netbooks out there with better specs but I'd go for newer tech over older everyday.

review of older model http://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspire-V3-111P-P06A-Notebook-Review-Update.125102.0.html <= looks like the 112p has a new CPU so should be faster.

I'd double check this http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/model/NX.MRQEK.008
Acers Website CPU Intel Pentium N3540 Quad-core 2.16 GHz
PCWorld Website CPU Intel® Celeron® Processor N2840 ?
Possible older stock that they're trying to get rid of ? I'd check to see what is up with that.

Sorry mate, go with the Tesco one. Looks like there is a better version of the Acer Aspire v3 112p that has the Quad core CPU but the PCworld/Curry one isn't it.

The extra £100 gets you the faster CPU, Touch screen & 4GB of memory which I would go for.

Four Versions of the same Netbook.

Damn :( That was a nice Netbook. Can only find Very/Littlewoods which is out of stock. Looks like it was a bit of a strange fish, the CPU tends to show up in the bigger display models only elsewhere. Maybe Very had the specs written down wrong. I can't find any other unit with similar spec :(

Definitely worth the extra http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Pentium-N3540-Notebook-Processor.117416.0.html
