Hi everyone, I've just brought one of the Quad Core Dells from Tesco, and it's a great little machine. Sadly, the case is vibrating against my PC wooden desk due to the feet on it being made of plastic. This make a sound like a washing machine, which is giving me a headache. Is there anything I could put under it that would stop the vibration? Some sort of rubber mat, maybe? Thanks :)

I can't put the PC on the floor, as I live in a flat and don't have the space to have a PC tower in the middle of the room! My desk is like this (in wood though)

The mouse mats are a good idea. Where could I get a few of them "cheap" from? Thanks

@ ODB_69: I made the avatar myself. I have a sig that goes with it as well. I'll send them to you if you want

Yh that would be cool mate cheers:thumbsup:

now I have seen yout desk, maybe rather than mousemats, get some felt or something and cover the whole of the bottom of the pc, otherwise mousemats may stick out and look a bit messy...maybe try a haberdashery stall or something probs be a lot cheaper too

I've looked everywhere for those Nexus "dampers" but I can't find them. Does anyone stock them. I might be resorting to the Blu Tack idea otherwise

KustomPCs is my first stop for this sort of thing, they don't have the nexus ones but they do have a a few others.

Go to your nearest £1 shop or Wilkinsons, self adhesive furniture pads. Around 50 in a pack.
