Sony Battery Help

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS315E Laptop and my battery life without it connected to a power socket is 60 mins!! To this end I feel the need to invest in a replacement battery for this Laptop.

Can anyone find me the best deal to do this?? I have looked and found "copies" but I have no idea if they will last the time??

Any pointers to good deals and advice on how to get the best out of Laptop Battery Life would be greatly appreciatted.

Thanks

DB

If you have the slim battery (4000maH) and it only lasts an hour from new then a high capacity one (8800maH) will last you about 2 hours.
Cost is going to be about £90.

Also the high capacity one will stick out the back and will be heavier.

Think the main rule is if you know you will need battery life when you buy the laptop buy the high capasity battery as it's normally not much more.

If I were you I would use the £90 towards a new laptop and sell yours, you should get £300-£350 as its a 'sony' and for some reason people seem happy to pay over the odds for what they are.

Nowadays £400-£450 buys a lot better speck laptop.
