Sony Ebook reader, any good deals around please?

Hi all

I want to get an ebook reader for my partners Christmas present and I've read good things about the Sony one.

Cheapest I have found is Johnlewis at £194 and I wondered if anyone could better that? I prefer a big retailer such as JL, WH Smiths etc as I worry about spending so much on an unknown website.

I know last Christmas JL did a voucher code but I can find anything now. Teso doesn't sell them which is a shame as there are plenty of codes knocking around.

Thanks for any help :)

Thanks for that.
No stock at either of them, both have stock due on the 17th. Thats too late for me as I like to be organised lol!
I'd much prefer a well known retailer... with the way things seem to be right now and companies going into administration.
Thanks

Thanks I'll keep a check on the website.
Robbodobbo, yeah books are generally cheaper but taking 150 books on holiday with you really screws up your luggage allowance....

One of my mate recently bought this and it looks amazing. The screen is absolutely brilliant and really easy on the eyes plus the bonus of being able to zoom! Fantastic bit of kit for a regular reader!

Thanks Zish, I think they look great too!
How fab to be able to take a whole library of books about in a little device like this.
I hope my partner gets one for me or i'll be stealing his lol!

I posted the Play.com deal on Wednesday:

You should get Quidco off the price (£189-99) and free delivery.
