Sony Ericcson on 02 with decent camera

I could do with a new phone with a decent camera & flash.

I like the look of the K800i & the K810i but havent seen others avalible & want to stay on my 02 network. Not a slide phone as I dont like them.

I would want to keep my current number & dont mind if it is on Pay as you go or a contract.

If contract then I would like a 12 month one with cashback offered. Also it must be from a reputable company that isnt really hard to get the cash back from (if such a company exists)

Please let me know what is avalible & show me some decent offers. I have see the K800i for £80 (PAYG) in here with a code & trade in but dont know any offers on other phones.

I would think about getting a different Manufacture other than Sony Ericcson like nokia.

cheers
James

Anything really but I've got a year to save up for a car & insurance so am trying not to spend loads if possible. But if I get a phone it will probably be the only big purchase I make for a while.

Its my 16th birthday in 2 weeks though & I'm just getting money at the moment because I dont need anything so I will probably get £300-400 if I get it off everyone in my family & step family. But I wouldnt want to spend it all obviosly.

I will have a look at the W810i as well mate. I like the Xeon flash on the K800i though & because I go fishing alot that sort of thing would help when taking a picture at night.

Anyone?

Sorry mate but I dont really like motorolas. Not sure why really but I just always prefered Nokias & Sony ericsons. Found them easier to use & not as complicated.

Are there no deals on 02 phones anywhere then?

Best o2 contract deals are with o2 online www.o2.co.uk You get more mins and messages there. Also when it comes to upgrading you can say you want to leave and they often give you discount. As far as phones go, if you're after a good camera phone from sony ericsson the best is currently the K810i but the new k850i should be out early october and has a 5megapix camera and FAR better video. Hope this helps.

You wont get the cashback etc direct from 02 though I would have thought.

Wouldnt mind the K850i but It will probably be to much for me.

I like the look of the K800i & K810i & both can be bought for about £100 (PAYG) but thats not on 02 & it costs an extra £35 from my local to unlock them.

Anyone know anything about the K790i?

Its exactly the same as the K800i but isnt 3G which I wouldnt really use.

I cant find then for sale but I would have thought they were cheaper than the K800i.

k800i on o2 for £99 - here and here and here (Grattan, Kaleidoscope & Freemans)

There might be a voucher knocking about for one of those websites.. I'll check :)

Making it £80 ?? :)

Edit: D'oh just noticed it says the code won't work for electrical items... Sowwy :-(

Thanks very much for those. The code doesnt work though. It says excludes electrical goods.

If there isny any better deals I might go for that.

Just been looking on envirophone & I can get £36 for my Nokia 6230i & they seem to be going for about £40-50 on ebay as well so that would be 1/2 of the cost nearly gone if i could sell it for the top of the price range.

Mine has a box, headphones, charger, manuals & memory carp which I have seen some going for £40 havent.
#22

I got my k800 when it first came out last year, and it works out about £160 or something.

Was £20 cashback on quidco (not sure what the rate is now though, if anything) and was about £16 a month for 50mins and 200 texts

It was the lowest package contract, for 12 months but I just wanted the handset on the cheap and they were going for nearly £400 at the time.

This was direct from the o2 website, so try there as others have said! should able to pick the k810 up for something similar
