Wont a Supermarket like Asda, Tesco etc give you some - if they have anything thats gone out of date ?

Unsure of their H&S policies, but worth a try ???

Ask your neigbours or friends to collect used ones for you. we do this for our neigbour who gives us a large pot of jam she makes, in return. Thats if you dont want new ones of course.

When I was making relish last christmas, I went to Tesco's, found the cheapest jarred food in the store (usually value stuff) bough a trolley full, threw the food away and sterilsed the jars. Never seen so much pickled beetroot before!! Think they were 15 0dd pence each at the time:-D
