Speakers 2.1 - For TV, Sky, Xbox 360 - £150 Help Needed Please

I have a new Samsung HDTV and I am really pleased with it. However, soundwise its a bit poor so I have therefore decided to look for a set of speakers.

Unfortunately, I dont have a clue when it comes to this sorta thing. I noticed the deal for the Philips set on here but somebody mentioned it cant be connected up to Sky or my 360.

Can I just get a good set of computer speakers or do I need TV speakers so to speak? I have £150 max to spend but dont want to waste money on something I am not sure about.

Thanks for any help or advice.

How about these they are 5.1 but can be used in 2.1 config bargain for £30. Although any speakers with phono inputs will do you for an xbox 360. if however you want to connect more than one item such as sky and 360 you will need to find a set that will allow multiple connections and switching between inputs which I imagine will be a tad more exspensive.

They pretty nice midlandscomics but I am specifically after 2.1 speakers.

What inputs should I be looking for to accomodate Sky, Xbox etc.?

I think you need optical inputs if you want surround sound on all your systems
