Just noticed that speartec seems to have disappeared. The home page says it is being updated and all the links are broken, maybe just undergoing maintenance?

They appeared at the top of google search results this morning. Any chance it isn't a massive scam site? Anyone from here received their purchase?

Company is 5 months old, doesn't necessarily mean it's a scam but it's possible.

Ah ok so it was too good to be true. Thankfully I didn't go through as the listing on the xbox one s said it came with a physical copy of fifa 17 but the bundle pictured would have been the code. Worrying it was the top of google search for xbox one s this morning. Paid for ad so obviously google don't check who they promote...

How can Google be expected to check every company which tries to advertise on its platform?

Individuals do have to take responsibility for their own actions as well.

In case anyone still wonders this is a confirmed scam website. The registered address is still available to let on multiple letting agency websites as it is an empty warehouse. Hopefully they didn't catch too many people out, no doubt they got some though.

Hi, well im an idiot !! I bought off speartec an xbox one for my boy for xmas and realised just after buying i been conned !! it didnt show yesterday as i thought as just after paying by faster payments i realised was conned! and no trace of their company now , gutted as i work 50 hours a week to support my family of 5 as husband has mental health issues!all money goes on bills and usually careful but it looked soo real and was very well set up. I saved up for an money to make up for never being able to treat our 3 kids and now christmas is ruined ! So mad at myself

Guess there isn't much I can do if I have transferred the money?

I know that the police/action fraud are investigating, refunds aren't looking good to be honest. This same guy/team did this around august with a company called hippo electronics. Twice in a few months so look out for a new company only taking bank transfers before christmas, I bet he/they do it again before the end of the year.

The rule of thumb weather it be tickets or consoles never trust a bank transfer. No cover and no body cares. I have used invoicing on PayPal and that works. Never send money to someone's bank unless you know them or never want to see it again
