for free eye test or money off glasses?

cheaper/free eye test would already use there bogof on glasses so doubt there would be any further discounts on glasses

Went to one last week, they want £25 for a eye test!
But £15 if you buy glasses the same day - not sure might be store specific that.

check this http://www.specsavers.co.uk/glasses/nhs/

if you are a student over 19 or not working at the moment, fill the HC1 form out to qualify for the free eye test and discounts off glasses or contacts

Students under 19 that would be.

If you use a PC for work you are entitled to claim the cost of an eye-test back from your employer and, if needed, a contribution to glasses (think you can claim once a year but not sure).

If I get a free eye-test I negotiate with the shop to charge for it and reduce the glasses cost :-D

no under 19's do not have to fill a form out, over 19's who are students do.

I asked them about that, and they said, as soon as you turn 19 you have to pay for the eye test.
I asked about full time eduction for over 19's, and they said you still have to pay.
