Sports Direct returns policy in store purchases

Does anybody know what Sports Direct policy for returns is for something you bought in store? Nothing wrong with the item, I just changed my mind. Tried Googling but all it did was turn up results about returning online orders to store.

They have the worst policy in the world, if it's faulty they have to legally refund, so make sure the item is faulty.

Will probably get criticised for this but people this is Sports Direct! Let's just say there's some stichin coming undone or something that shouldn't be on a new item and I think you should be able to get refund. I had to do it with shoes that had stichin coming undone and was refunded

It's a pain in the **** is what it is.

I bought a T-shirt from them once, got home to find the stitching had been done wrong, manufacturing fault. Went back next day with receipt, all tags intact, wanting a straight swap. Had to wait for an available manager to authorise the exchange. Never known anything like it. It was a like for like swap on a clear faulty item, and I had to wait somewhere around 8 mins for authorisation. I work in retail, this was seriously customer unfriendly.

Just take it to store n tell them she not good or something makes it not … Just take it to store n tell them she not good or something makes it not feasible for u to keep If they don't call managerIf they still don't take names go

Credit note only. Will ensure I purchase elsewhere in future. Good quality retailers offer refund or exchange when items are in perfect condition. Sports Direct are lowest quality product and customer service. Lesson learned

There's no statutory right for a refund on items purchased in store if there's nothing wrong them and you've just changed your mind.

I thought this might be the case!

Basically I got a pair of trainers. Asked for 9 and 10 to try on and literally waited about 20 minutes whilst the unhelpful staff got them from the stock room. They only brought 9s, which I tried on in a rush because I'd left my girl somewhere, and thought they were a bit tight but would do. Wasn't going to hang around 20 minutes for 10s! Turns out they are too tight now I've had a proper try at home.

I'd be happy with a store credit voucher. Might ask for that and see how it goes.

well if it's wrong size swap it or they should give u a credit at least in have bought shoes for kids and when they don't fit u just take them back as it's a bit difficult getting correct size when kids keep growing and shops keep putting random sizes on shoes. just say they are the wrong size I don't see what the issue will be he terms maybe on ur receipt.

So you had no receipt then or proof of purchase? In which case Sports Direct are better off.
The retail environment is a tough place to be right now. Taking every Tom, Dick and Harry at their word is risky. Not to mention that exchanges or refunds are not legally required.
