hi, they don't usually have promotional codes - just cheaper fares depending on when you travel etc.

Are you travelling on your own ?

If you have kids with you its cheaper to get a family rail card - kids boat and train from / to anywhere is £20 which is cheaper than a return on the boat usually.

yes, usually a fair bit. ITs also cheaper to book online - they charge more on the phone like airlines do.

If you go to the site it will show the the fares if you put the dates you want to travel in and shows all other sailings on that day from both Liverpool and Heysham.

If you do the boat and train thing you need to ring to book. They do a boat / rail fare through Heysham or Liverpool too - might be worth ringing to check if its cheaper - where are you coming from ?

ok - try this - ring 01624661661 and ask them what the return boat and train fare is on your dates. You will need to get from Lime St or Lpool Central station to the Peir Head - but its only a 10minute walk - about £5 in a taxi when i did it in april cos i had 2 kids and loads of bags ! But don't book.

Then go to steam-packet.co.uk and put in your dates and it will give you the boat only fares for all the sialings the day you want to travel - you can also look at the day before / after if your dates are flexible.

Check your train fare - and if you want to do it as two separate travel ways book online to get the cheapest deal.

But it maybe cheaper to get the train / boat combined - you'd need to ring back to book it.

Hope this helps !

ps. i don't work for them ! Just trying to help X)
