I've looked at Halfords and Amazon and although i can get it there, the delivery charges are a bit steep.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a deal on line?

Isn't it just antifreeze you need? One that is for all seasons? If it is you can pick that up at a petrol station (possibly) or Halfords?

At this time of year, just use water until you return to civilization.

i really am in the middle of nowehere - no garages here or Halfords here!

And yes it is antifreeze i'm after and i don't fancy topping up with just water.

I'm assuming you're in the UK and not Alaska.
If it's only a couple of pints, heck, even if it's the whole radiator, at this time of year, water will be fine.
You can then drain some out and top up with the proper stuff on your return.
How long are you away for?

couple of weeks, but wifey says it's on the minimum mark and she has quite a bit of driving to do whilst i'm away.

It's not going to freeze is it?

Phone any garage / RAC / AA and ask their advice.
You'll be OK for two weeks easy.

How old is car / make / model. ( Not that that rally makes any difference, just being nosey ).

You should be more concerned as to why it has lost so much.

I'm off out now, will catch up later.

Im a mechanic, yes you do really need antifreeze in all year round nowadays as it also stops corrosion but topping up with water will be fine. Plus if its only on the minimum mark, its not going to take too much to get back to max.
If I was you, just top up with water, then when you get back somewhere just pop into a garage and get them to check the anitfreeze content
