My phone rang i picked up expecting the useral talk talk scammer.

Instead someone on a very crackly line is prattling at me in what i think was Portuguese. So i said you got the wrong number and put the phone down, it immediately rang again and she was talking English this time asked if it was repairman something, i said no you have the wrong number, she said where is he? I said no one here by that name, she said do i know where she can find him, i said no you have the wrong number, she said is this London? I said this is a home and that man is not known here. She said so you don't know whatever his name is the repair man i said no. She said so I don't know where she can find him, i said no you have the wrong number.

I'm not even sure she was in this country

You have a very similar number to a portugese hitman.

Someone rang me today asked for Mr Wall.
I said no Mr Wall in this house.
They then asked to speak to Mrs Wall.
I told them there isn't a Mrs Wall here.
So they then asked me if I have any Walls at all in my house.
I replied that there are indeed no Walls in my house.
At this point they laughed and asked how can I live in a house that has no Walls.

What was the number (last few digits?) I have very unusually had two missed calls from a number in Malta today!?

Probably a cowboy builder giving out random numbers of which happens to be yours and now a disgruntled customer is looking for him.

The last line should be "Get the f*** out, the roof's going to fall in" ;)

I have had so many crank phone calls on the landline i have lost count. honestly some of them are so weird, it is almost entertainment!

We stopped using the landline for this very reason and now with the mobile we don't get crank calls any more. It is also easier to block a number on the mobile.

I had a call yesterday. Someone said I'm I with virgin media, and I asked why? Then they repeated my postcode and cut the line?

Another time, one of these indian based IT computer scammers had said VM have forwarded their details to fix my computer issue..? At the time I only had internet issues which VM were aware of, the guy tried accessing my computer as i denied to allow him. He said his from BT then he said Virgin media, he works with every company?

I cut the line telling him inknow it's a scam. The Indian guy, called back from several spoofed locations and numbers. First two call was from private number, then USA, China and Canada.

These scammers get pretty annoying and especially find easy access to those who are less knowledgable about computers, and the elderly.
