Did you manage to find anything else out? I've got a 12yr old son who wants a new one for Christmas - he's mentioned Apex but at £600 I don't think that's happening, and I haven't got a clue what's good and what's bad! Think he wants something a bit different to what everyone else has, but just as cool. Or sick. Or something like that. Currently got a Grit Invader that we got for £100 on a half price Amazon deal about 3 years ago, but it's pretty much fallen to pieces now. Totally clueless here!

We've managed to get out of him that Sacrifice are really cool but it needs to be The Flyte model as the cheaper Hustler is for kids!! Someone could make a fortune from a website for parents about what's cool and what's not!!

We just bought my daughter her 1st stunt sccoter. In the end the consensus of all the review sites for entry level scooters seem to favour:-

MGP (Madd Gear)
Slamm
Gritt

We ended up buying one off www.kateskates.co.uk as their prices were as good as any of the others (skate hut etc.) but they had (and still have) 15% off for black friday. They also have a healthy quidco cashback if the 15% doesn't work.

We picked up one of the reduced slamm's with 15% off on top.

The only other feedback people say is - no folding scooters.

Hope this helps

Do have a look on kates skates, they have the flyte, but they also have some more expensive sacrifice models discounted to cheaper than the flyte (AK115?) That might cheer him up even more!

Thanks for that! Hadn't found that website, I've gone for it with the 15% off and hoping that the 9% TCB might track too but not sure with the other discount - worth a try!

Did a bit more digging and apparently he didn't like the AK as they're heavier and he likes the fact that Flyte are so lightweight, so I've just gone for the green one at £136 after discount. I've also ordered the OG Player in black/yellow £96 for the 8 yr old who is a massive Borussia Dortmund fan and really wanted a proper stunt scooter!
Good job I'm made of money...!

No problem, the range of these scooters is baffling!
