As with the other DS classics it has been sucked into the vortex of consistently high pricing. If you use a game finder like billybargain.co.uk you'll see the lowest price is at Virgin (£18.99) but it is out of stock.
Beyond that all the retailers are wanting £24+ of your English pounds.

Better hunting this down preowned I reckon, as it could be had for much much less last year.

Try your hand on the import scene, Movietyme is a good place to start with a far more acceptable price of £17.99 delivered.

It's a known site around here and most escape the VAT man...

My thoughts exactly. Only two things to bear in mind:
Gamestation will not take import trade-ins anymore. GAME still do, they gave me £20 last week for Tetris! Madness!

Secondly, the cases are slightly thinner (and black) than the Euro transparent versions. Probably because they don't need to contain such a thick multi-language manual.

ah ok didnt know GAME took them - shame i dont have a local one.

one thing is though - i bought Big Brain Academy from CD-WOW the other week, and it was a Euro version (had the 3+ rating on cover, Euro Manual and UK Game) but it was a slim blakc case version.

the side was the same as UK ones too, with the larger than US Logo on the side and the green triangle in the corner.

very odd!

With DS NTSC games can you play multi with other PAL users?

NTSC and PAL does not apply to handhelds. It's a television standard.

Well I used to play my American Tetris against people in Japan, so I'm assuming so.

yeah i played mario kart ds with my brother, and i had a US game and he had a UK game. it doesnt matter what version it is, as long as its the same game. when i played wifi vs people all over the world i guess they had different versions.
