I just got my syma x12s through the post and it wont pair to the controller! The controller shows a solid light, i think its meant to be flashing. the drone flashes normally but when i put the left stick up and down no sound is emitted and they wont pair. I need a way to reset the controller so it can pair. Theres nothing in the manual to help me and ive had enough looking online. any advice much appreciated thanks

you have to turn the quad on then the remote and on the left stick press all the way up to top then to the bottom then when you go up again it should pair...that's what it does with my son's anyway

Found this, maybe worth a try, says to move the left stick down and then switch on the remote

To bind the X12 and the transmitter all you have to do is switch on the quadcopter, set the throttle (left stick) down to the minimum, then switch on the transmitter and push the throttle stick up to the maximum and down to the minimum again.
