Hi there!

I'm looking to buy a cheap tablet (new/secondhand, from either a shop or anyone who may just have one lying around!

all I really want it for is to play emulated games (n64, PSX) so I know it doesn't need to be at all powerful.

does anyone know a place to get a cheap tablet, or perhaps someone is selling one?

I was looking at a link 7 on eBay for around £30, it then sold before I got it'!

Hipstreet W7 - Same tablet as the Linx 7 CEX £32 Grade A. Toshiba Encore also same tablet.
If you can stretch abit in price look for the Linx 8 or similar. The 8 and above have 2gb ram which also gives you the option to run the likes of Bluestacks to emulate Android on a windows machine.
Another option is to go for an android TV box. These will run the emulators also although to get the most out of it you would need to also hook up a game pad. If you go down that line ensure 2gb ram.

Edit:my mistake it is the Linx 10 that has 2gb ram.

thank you!

one last question...any chance it's possible to upgrade them to Windows 10? (not imperative just thought I'd ask and see if it's worth it)

You could at the time they gave it away for free, which I did myself. Now you have to go through the method linked below.
