Has anyone who's a 'current' customer of Talk Talk managed to haggle anything of their new "Fixed Price" deals? Or maybe you are a legacy customer and got a better deal staying off of the fixed plans? I was just wondering whether they play ball with long-term existing customers or are they steadfast in not being able to change them?
Oh, and before anyone chimes in about how bad they are, I have been with them for many years (and Tiscali before that) and I've never had any major grumbles. Ok, so I might be in the minority but - better the devil you know, as they say. I mean no disrespect to anyone but I've heard all the stories and tales a million times over so I wish to save people's time by mentioning I won't be swayed by hearing how terrible they are.
Any tales of battling with their call-centre oppo's would be greatly appreciated before I wade in and try my luck. I seem to have a fight every year and most of the time get a deal I'm happy with. This year though, I fear it might be more of an uphill struggle than usual. Who knows? I might just jump ship instead!
