Which is the newest model?
Do any have buttons on to adjust water (i.e allow you to add more hot water to a pre-set drink to top it up?)
Or maybe adjust the cup size?
Which do you have?

Looking for an xmas present but I seem to have missed the bargain deals by being indecisive! lol

We bought the T40, it allows you to add more water but you cannot adjust the strength of the coffee.

We ended up selling our machine as we could not compare it to making a 'normal' cup of coffee using the traditional kettle and coffee jar. The coffee tastes weak for me personally and hot chocolates do not taste like chocolate.

I would suggest if you really wanted one buy a second hand one if not just go for a bean to cup machine or just do it the old traditional way. If you are a coffee lover that is.

ideally none. But if you really want one, go for the cheapest (£29.99 max). All the more expensive ones do, is auto shut off, and/or have built in water filters.

we've got a dolce gusto and really like the drinks they do but Tassimo seem to do more variety, I've ordered the joy 2 as an Xmas present for the Mrs so fingers crossed it's not crap

oh, well I'm actually a tea drinker and prefer the old kettle and cup! But my husband is the coffee lover who buys those cappuccino/latte sachets etc to make himself with hot water, so thought this would be a nice step up to use as an xmas present for his morning coffee to take on the drive to work etc.

So, are you guys selling them due to the taste of the coffee in the pods? not because it's just quicker to make your own etc? Conflicted now LOL I know I wouldn't use it, it's more for him, he loves gadgets and stuff.

There don't seem to be any around at £30 at the moment I missed all those Asda deals!

if hes used to sachets, then its not a bad idea. If he was a big "coffee lover" then avoid as the taste is nothing like a "real" coffee. They are very quick and convenient, but are expensive per cup. Shop around, and you should find them cheaply.

I had a T40.

It was OK until the milk recipe changed sometime in the last year.

Now, the drinks are claggy and taste as if they are made with sterilized milk. (The old type.)

I gave mine away and bought a Nespresso with Aeroccino instead.

pods are not all that, i had a tassimo

horrible, so got a delonghi bean to cup, best thing i ever did

none of them, i bought one two weeks ago for the costa and it was a total waste of money as it tastes nothing like costa, so my advice would be save your cash
