So we moved into a newly renovated lower ground apartment. A few months later, we noticed mould on anything that was left on the floor and skirting board. We notified the landlord who indicated to us that this was normal and new builds need to be ventilated. We stuck it out, cleaning the mould off our damaged things and the skirting. 2 weeks ago after particularly heavy rains, the carpet became drenched. We were forced to move out and live in a hotel at the landlords expense (room only). Costs are spiralling as we can't cook food and eating out is expensive. Parking costs, washing, future moving costs and I have been from hotel to hotel, I work nights and come home around 7am to check out at 9 am and have to wait for check in at the other hotel at 2 pm. I have found a new place, had to pay admin fees again to the letting agent. Food is 300% more than our usual and they think they're doing us a favour providing us a hotel room, they thought we were funny when I mentioned the electricity cost of a industrial 800 watt dehumidifier that they're running 24/7 - 1 week now. We were living in damp and mould for 6 months.

Thanks, I read that but I also read that the landlords are not liable for your processions or to give you accommodation?
