Tesco substitutions when an item sub'd in is on offer

Tesco has two varieties of Chicago Town pizzas on offer for £1. But the other varieties are on offer at 2 for £3.50.

I'm happy for them to substitute the £1 pizzas if need be, indeed I'd rather they did!, but if they have to would it price match the £1 or will I end up getting done at the 2 for £3.50 price given I'm ordering multiples of two?

They mention you won't get multi-buy/link discounts if the product you ordered was multi-buy/link, but nothing about the substituted items.

If they substitute, you'll only be charged for the cost of the product ordered, but they might not substitute or may pick a different brand pizza. You can of course reject it for a refund if what they send is not what you want.

just tell them what you want the items substituted with (via full basket view). They will still only charge £1. I do this all the time.
