I have a Tesco/Viglen Connect 8" Windows 10 tablet that needed a fresh Windows installation following an OS fault.
I have been looking for a working driver for the touch device, a SileadTouch, albeit to no avail.
Unfortunately the tablet manufacturer has not published this specific driver, nor has Windows Update been able to identify the device. The device is known to Windows as:
Hardware ID ACPI\VEN_MSSL&DEV_1680
Compatible ID ACPI\PNP1680
So, if there are any Tesco Connect 8 owners out there with a working tablet, if you could please upload the file (or even just mention the driver's date and version, which can be found under "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device" under "Human Interface Devices" on the tablet's "Device Manager") I'd be very grateful. The files required are located at "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\", namely, SileadTouch.fw and SileadTouch.sys
