I've been with First Call Breakdown for a few years - full UK cover for £42.

It would help if you said what sort of cover you are looking for. Homestart, European etc.
#3

cant use firstcall as they wont cover me for 48hs....and i need it in place for tomorrow. I couldnt sort sooner as i have been waiting to get the AA sorted and cancelled..

don;t blame you for not wanting AA,
they left my hubby stranded on the motorway for 4 hours!
#6
Looking at quidco I would say that would be the decider given the fact that some are offering upto £50 back.
#7
the AA just took my renewal without sending paperwork and its £50 more than last year, and when i call them they cut me ff due to too many calls! what a joke. The bank have taken the money back.

Green insurance seems cheapest at the mo. Alternatively, you can use Tesco clubcard points @ 3times face value.

Nope you pay £12.95 per month for that.

the bank wanted £17 a month but includes phone insurance and hols one i have just bought!
the hol insurance i had to pay an extra £50 each to add kids so more £ than just buying it anyway!
And it was with the AA so no way!
for £28.90 i got homestart and relay so am well pleased!
i will have a look at autoaid tho thanks !!!

Autoaid are superb, ring them up on theifr hotline or arrange your own recovery, i've claimed twice this year and the cheque is back within 5 days, three weeks before my CC statement ;)
