The cheapest good spec 32" LCD?

Have been looking for ages now for a decent flat screen tv for my living room and there are so many out there that i am losing track of what one to go for.
Ive been told that if i stick with branded ones i cant go far wrong but noticed these are out of my price range.

I would be looking to spend around £300. I have looked at a Hannspree one on ebuyer for this price although there have been problems regarding its sound on some of its reviews.

Wouldn't want to go buying one that ends up breaking after a few months.

If there are any models that people swear by and have had no problems with then please share them with me. I'd preferably like it HD ready but this is not priority.

Thanks for all posts, much appreciated.

I have the 37" Hannspree and haven't had any problems with it... I was looking at the 32" for my bedroom :)

I bought the 32" from ebuyer Around a month ago. The tv looks very sexy, and has great picture and superb sound. Those people must of had faulty ones. The hd quality on my 360 is superb.

Buy it now is my advise.

There's a £100 one being discussed in the 'Misc' forum, maybe someone will sell you their place in the queue. :whistling:

Think gonna give that 100 quid one a miss. Bit of a dodgy deal going on there.

Im 80% commited to getting the hannspree 32" LCD but there have been problems for users hooking it up to their Virgin Medai Cable boxes wih the sound cutting out.
Can anyone confirm or dismiss this please?

Thanks ;)

Thnank you for all posts so far, they have helped.

Bought the hannspree 32" LCD myself 3 weeks ago to upgrade from my CRT and i think its great, noticed a big difference in sound quality and it works perfectly with my Virgin Media box, not had a single issue so far.

Need to get myself V+ box now to get the best use out of it :)

Anyone know how much longer the Hannspree offer is on for?

You can get it for £300-£320 at many different retailers on the net, ebuyer will not be raising the price any more for certain. :)

Also, is it possible for this TV to be mounted on the wall?

both the 32" and 37" hannsprees can be wall mounted.
