Edinburgh is lovely I must admit :D

I have a 2 for 1 voucher for the dungeons if you want it? Would post it to you if you liked :) Maybe try one of the 'scary' walks too at night? Mary Kings Close or something similar. I hope the weather is nice for you

if you are going by train get a pus bus its a couple of pound or less if using a rail card unlimited lothian and one other ( ie main bus routes) for a day ,
also look for the half price offers or BYGOF on backs of discarded bus ticket, thing it was dungeons last time,
another is to book online before going if you are def going as some offers are not avilable at door,

also pick up leaflets about attractions in edinburgh Away from the city before you go, many have discounts and free places which are not on the ones in the city

great place as others have said plan some of the costlier stuff before and you will get money off,

one other thing if you are a family group taking out eg historic scotland in advance would get you obviouly into castle but if you are around a bit longer stirling castle ect and membership covered, they were doing 3 months free, also 50% off in England and IOM for 1st year then free 2nd , cheeper

Also 'Afternoon Tea and Cocktails for Two for £18 at Birdcage Bar and Restaurant (£40 Value)' seems rather nice.
