Yes. You can even get a partial refund on the outward journey if it cost more than £10 (£10 admin fee). Just take it into a station and do a refund...

yeah , i know its probably a yes , just making sure :p

also i have to print out ticket in station and was worried in case it dont print out cos i have gone past the outward journey.

You could chance it, but if the ticket inspector finds out that you're travelling via a completely valid ticket in complete accordance with the route and time specified on it, he might not mind in the least. You'd he completely at his mercy, and he may even wish you a good day or say 'thank you' for travelling with them.

I'd say print them off before hand. Saves time in the process to.

Not the best answer unfortunately as advance tickets are non refundable

You should have no problems on your return journey as long as you turn up for the correct timed train specified on your reservation
