I have used world wide travel for years, had to make a claim while in USA about 10 years ago. I stick with them because its hard to find someone new and they paid up no quibble.

I was told by the insurance companies that they will issue you with insurance, but you are not covered for the pre existing conditions. This doesn't make sense to me!

Try justtravelcover.com they cover my existing heart condition. Topcashback has 25.3% cash back at present.

Try Staysure travel insurance.....always reasonable price and there is always a discount code for them if google it, plus cash back via Quidco

To be frank, insurance is gambling, companies gamble on you coming back in one piece. If you have a pre existing condition then the odds aren't in their favour, they are potentially paying hundreds of thousands against your quote. The reason they exclude is so they can still offer insurance rather than just saying no.

I have an extremely rare medical condition (1:1,400,000), about the only people that would cover me were Virgin, and their quote was only £20 or so more than a quote where I didnt list the illness - and this for insurance for a 6 month stay in southern China.

If you can find out who underwrites them, you may get a cheaper quote.

I used go panda but I didn't claim, so can't really vouch for them.

I do know the quote was great and they're defacto 5* rated.

Hi,try now travel insurance, have used last 3 years.
Can't really say what they like claim wise due to not claiming.
Always get good price including medical conditions included.
Hope this helps.
