Im looking at going to london soon and the cheapest 'chain' hotel i can find is the Travelodge on City Road in London.

Does anyone have any better recomendations for a two night stay costing no more then £160 for the triple room in total, or any Travelodge codes?

Also, i know most people on here rubbish travelodge but if anyne has been to this hotel i would appreciate your views.

Thankyou in advance.

Hi,

Try the Hoxton Hotel, this is 250mtrs away from city rd. I got 2 rooms for a sunday night for £30.00 each next weekend (and they are a triple)
Go online and go to check in to see what is available

I can definitely recommend the Hoxton Hotel as well. I've stayed there before and it is a lovely modern hotel. It's a 3 star hotel but is definitely more like a 4 star. If you can get one of their special rates then definitely go for it.
We've also stayed at the MIC centre hotel in Euston, fab rooms and amazing breakfasts. If you call or email them, they will probably do you a room with breakfast for £99 but I don't know if they do triple rooms or not. Have a look at the link below:

If you're looking for hotel reviews then have a look at Tripadvisor. I always refer to this before booking anything, it's really helpful:

Hope this helps.

you could also try the intercontential group deals to see if you can get a deal for example
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/...rateCode=IDEX1
gives 2 for 1 nights eg.brent Cross £49 per night, Docklands £34, and eg. Greenwich £44 per night with breakfast thrown in for some dates in|June. Brent Cross £54 etc.

This code
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/925/en/c/1/content/dec/teaser/ex/925/en/lp/summer07.html?rateCode=ISHCX
Brings up Golders Green (by Golders Green station on Northern Line) at £64 per night and london Limehouse £59. I just put in random June dates to see, so not sure whats available for the dates you want.

This code gives 25% discount eg Swiss cottage £60 per night. Put in dates for 9 to 11 june to check as example.

It is a shame that you appear to have missed the 2 for 1 hot hotel deal posted on here as this morning there were hotels Comfort Inn Kensington and Quality Inn Westminster with breakfast on this deal for £54 a night. Checked and cant find any left for June now.

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/1/en/c/1/content/dec/teaser/6c/1/en/lp/emea/twofor.html?rateCode=IDEX1

The Holiday Inn in Brent Cross, London NW2 is £37.50 per night for 2 nights for double and standard rooms, so you could book a room with 2 double beds in it and a single or double bed room. £150 for 2 nights for 2 rooms.
Brent Cross tube station (on the Northern Line, check out tfl.gov.uk tube maps) is under half a mile away and it says the hotel offers a free shuttle service to it. It is also across the road from the big Brent Cross Shopping Centre and buses go all over London from there (eg. Oxford street on the 24 hour 189 bus). You can then choose to go and come by bus or go by bus to the train station of your choice and hop on the train. Check buses here

If you check out this posting on here http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/190215/2-for-1-hotel-breaks and click on Milton keynes (click yes tab ) and then put in London and the dates you want. The comfort inn at Westminster comes up at £54.50 per night per double/twin room and has breakfast included. Know it is a over budget at £218 for the 3 of you for 2 nights.
