Treadmill needed £500-£600 max

Need a treadmill - willing to pay £500-600 max. I assume I will get better deals online than going to my local fitness store.

Only one essential requirement - electronic elevation.

I have been looking at the Roger Black Gold for £350 in Argos, but some of the reviews are hit and miss.

Also seen this Protrain Max for £500

Is it worth an extra £150, or anyone have any recommendations?

Many thanks.

(By the way, I dont want this to start into a debate about buying or not buying treadmills - I want to buy one, just want advice on which one).

i've got the roger black one. i was used to the one at the gym and found the width of the running surface a bit hard to get used to but it's fine in the end. not the same sturdy setup as a gym heavy duty gym one but certainly usable. elevation is fine, speed too. never used another home one to compare it to. using it is another matter, it's hardly been turned on and i haven't got my moneys worth.

Hi
I don't think you can put direct links in to Ebay, but if you search on there "treadmill" a seller near Glasgow sells about 10 every week. The rrp is over £1500 on his machines and go for about £300.

Have you bought from the ebay seller or are you associated with them? Can you give me an item/listing number?

Hi
No,I have not bought anything from him or associated with him. He's got good feedback though...My mum asked me to get her a treadmill,so I been looking around for a good deal. I was thinking of buying from him,but there was one on here the other day for £150 delivered and that might do her - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/137583/motorised-treadmill-149-99-ebuyer/

Some of the mods are quite anal on here so if that gets deleted his user name is www_sportscentralonline_com. If you do get one, please let me know how it is as I might still buy from him as I am hoping I could collect, save on delivery :)

If you go to your local gyms they often sell them off at a reasonable price because they update to newer models a lot. My uncle did this when setting up a home gym and paid around £100 for a top quality treadmill
