Hi Everyone

We are holidaying in Kalkan in August this year.

Do you need any vaccinations for Turkey ?

I hadn't given it a thought until a colleague at work mentioned it this week.

I'm getting mixed information when i google it though !!

Do any of you guys bother with them or not ?

Thanks

Hi,
I have been travelling to Kalkan for over 10years. My parents fell in love with the place and the people so much they bought a house there. it's a lovely place you will have a great time.
You don't need any vaccinations but if you have any medical issues while you are the the chemist on the Kalamar rd is excellent and speaks good English.
The £10 visa fee can now be paid over the internet, it's allot better then queuing as the airport doesn't turn on the air con. I'll ask my mum for the visa website and ill message you this afternoon.
If you need anymore info just let me know
Have a great trip
Lucy

Immunisations

Confirm primary courses and boosters are up to date as recommended for life in Britain - including for example, vaccines required for occupational risk of exposure, lifestyle risks and underlying medical conditions.
Courses or boosters usually advised: Hepatitis A.
Other vaccines to consider: Hepatitis B; Rabies; Tetanus; Typhoid.
No yellow fever vaccination certificate required for this country.

There are no vaccination requirements for visiting Turkey-it's a matter of opinion and choice.

Just remember to take a tenner for the entry visa
