So I am no technology guru, but I have £500-£550 to spend on a new TV and I wanted the best I can get for that. I dont Freeview as I have SKY and I dont NEED it to be HD.

I would prefer a 37 inch TV.

Any advice or related forum discussion would be gratefully receieved.

Didn't i see somewhere a 40" 1080p set for£680 recently?
£130 extra.

720p sets will be where CRTs are now in 3-4 years imo, I'd really suggest getting a 1080p set.
