Is any one having trouble with terrestrial TV Reception in Southampton? I keep losing BBC channels and now all the others are going to. I'm in a ground floor block of flats the main aerial is rubbish and been using an amplifer exterior aerial for a couple of years and it's been fine now fine early morning but at night it is rubbish!

You do realise the analogue channels are being phased out in favour of digital ones, don't you?

It could well be atmospheric interference, which often happens in hot weather conditions.

All is ok with the tv reception here near Totton I think we get the signal for this area from the Isle of Wight, although sometimes the DAB radio channels can have interference here. If youre living in a block of flats with a communal aerial it will be the landlord's responsibility to fix or upgrade the aerial.

Yes I thought it would be that happens to some extent several times of the year... it's strange it only happens to certain channels! BBC channels! Haven't been able to watch BBC 3 since Sunday! Thanks for your answer.
