Well what does she like so we can look for it:roll:

Tell her if she complains too much you'll keep the TV yourself and you get her a cheapo 14 inch CRT from Asda :giggle:

Sass how about mounting it on the wall?

she doesnt want it wall mounted, but as we cant find a reasonable cost unit she likes it might look like she wont have the choice

thanks guys for your posts so far she doesnt like any of them, i liked the oval glass one but she doesnt want a shaped one, fussy mare:roll:

Teenagers - just put them up against the wall and shoot them, that's my opinion :-D

If she sees something she likes put it up and we'll see what we can find

not sure really, but a quick question on mounting the tv onwall, what do you do with all the cables? wont it look tacky, may give her the lounge brick and wall mount this is my lounge:giggle:

P.s - janet its a deal but sadly the tv comes with two extra kids, if interested it's a deal

Unfortunately without chasing into the walls to hide the cables the best solution is a cable tidy which keeps all the cables in one bunch, some thing like this from Argos

Though you can get them cheaper

About the stand height issue, the Vistron one I put up earlier is only 500mm high (1 foot 8 inches) could you set something up that height to see if that is low enough

PS It also is not wood and oblong (and the cheapest)
