A post really to find where to get genuine Ugg boots for the missus, although a link to a discounted supplier would be even better.

Cheapest price so far?
#2
Any price would do to start as I dont even know how much they cost.

I bought a pair of these for my daughter last Christmas. I found that all the uk retailers wanted in excess of £100 going up to about £170. A very quick google search revealed that I could get them from Australia for about £70 so I took a punt.

Obviously the inherent risks of buying from abroad, but they turned up a couple of weeks later and she's been wearing them ever since.

try here as ana example..http://www.uggstore.com.au/index.php?currency=GBP&gclid=CLDEyMvZro8CFQ2wQwodbnEQTA

Product code for black is G78XG23
Product code for brown is G78XG24
Hope this helps

Oh and don't forget to go through quidco for 3% cashback and there are several free delivery codes knocking about on here.

There's http://www.uggaustralia.com/gb/ProductsList.aspx?gID=w&categoryID=283&page=1 a bit pricey though

you can get them cheaper from abroad but may be liable for customs etc.

£200 rrp for a pair of boots? Tesco sell a decent similar pair for £10! this is surely fashion/style over sensibility. How do they justify the extra £190?
(please, no ferrari/ford analogies in replies!)
#12
It all depends on whether you want genuine uGg labelled boots or whether you're going for the ugg-type boot I suppose. And not one ferrari/ford analogy! (Because I don't really know any lol)
#13
i got a pair from next.
I didn't want them because they look like *ugg boots* lol i wanted some comfy footwear to wear in new york and saw them.
and they are sooo comfy!
they were only £30 I wouldn't pay over that just for a label plus they're not sheepskin - yuck

I found ugg boots from Emu Australia at a New Zealand online shop called the Ugg Boot Shop. They only took 8 days to arrive and only cost 44 pound including the shipping.

I would agree with you mostly. Although I have to say the £15 shoes I bought from Tesco (yes I did buy a pair for £15!) are nowhere near the same quality as my £70 Kickers. The Tesco shoes lasted three months, the kickers have been going for 4 years and still look new! Couldnt justify paying more than £70 if they didnt last a very long time though. The sole seems to be bonded much better to the leather upper, whereas with cheap shoes it seems to come apart very easily. Also the kickers are SOOOO comfortable, whereas the others gave me blisters even after id worn them in :(

Be wary of sites offering cheap UGG boots, many of them are not genuine and people have been disappointed.

Plenty of info on what to look for here: http://reviews.ebay.com/How-to-spot-FAKE-UGG-BOOTS_W0QQugidZ10000000003646113

Worth a look. My wife knew someone who bought some 'cheap' UGGs and they turned out to be fakes.

oh right, i was looking at the american site,... see a nice pair of short uggs on the austrailia site for £63, so 73 inc postage. is that the best deal around? seems decent
#34
these are real they do stretch alot i am a uk 5 i have kids size 6 and they arebig but they take a littlebit of wearing before they stretch
#36
had a look at these as i am wearing a real pair the same and these dont seam to have the r in acircle and have more writing then mine mine just say ugg australia
#37
Before you order from rei.com, go onto their website and register your email address with them - they instantly send you a welcome email back giving you 15% discount code. As far as I'm aware, British customs will tax you on the boots even if they are kids sizes but considering how much you're saving in the first place it's worth it.
banned#38
so what would the tax be?
#39
Rei.com send them through parcel force and the tax and vat comes to £25.60 (on a $101.99 boot order plus $60 shipping) hth
