I have had EMUs from amazon, they were on offer i paid about £40 for them , they are rougly £80 -100 now are sheepskin and look the same, i loved them, wore them all the time, i had them in a sand colour and they did sometimes look blemished in the rain, then stupidly put them in the washing machine and they ruined.

Wanted another pair but a bit skint so got some bearpaw ones from tk max they are around £30-40 for the long classic style, again they are sheepskin and exactally the same style, im finding them really nice warm and water just brushes off them i got these in the chocolate,

Both my emus and bearpaw have kept their shape, i find the bearpaw a bit more supportive than the EMU, my daughter has had her EMUs for over two year now and they are in pretty good shape considering they have been dragged through snow mud etc.

I have never tried them but another good brand is just sheepskin, although a colleage has a pair and they look a bit slouched.

I didnt ever see the point in fake uggs, i wanted something that did the same job was of decent quality but not expensive, this way if they get ruined i am not so precious about them, i wanted to be able to wear them in snow etc and not worry, i also really couldnt justify paying £150 for a pair of boots, i may do in the future but for now im happy with a lower label

Both my emus and bearpaw have been fine, if you go on javari at the moment they are on offer, the code is in deb8z post, can be used on any of their shoes/boots, and there is a big selection of ugg styled boots.
i would suggest if getting the bearpaw try TKmax first as they are really cheap £30/£40 and usually have a good selection

Just one more question - which do I get lo or hi - i want to be able to roll them over - can you do this with the lo - as my calfs may be too big for the hi ones (or is there somewhere which gives the calf measurements) please help.

you want the mid ones, the lo are about ankle length you will struggle to fold these, the classic are mid, the long are usually the highest,

Very good choice, in boot and colour, do not get the bronte, they look the same as the stingers but im pretty certain the bronte are not sheepskin, they are cheaper so a lot of people go for them thinking they are the same
I had the low stinger in sand, those are the ones i ruined by putting them in the washing machine

As i said befor Javari have some pretty good deals on them at the mo with the £20 off code, hope your happy with them, and hope your feet will be snuggly all winter
