Have used www.new-car-discount.com and they were very good. Got a Nissan (for my mother :) ) at least £1k less than local dealer. Only slight drawback is that it took six months to get registration document. It's something to do with car being part of fleet purchases and "retention periods". Minor irritation but never really bothered me.

There is a simpler way. In my experience as a BMW salesperson should a customer walk into the dealership with a quotation from a web-based supplier or agency, we would rather try to match the deal than lose the chance of a sale. Cant say for definite that your local Citreon dealer could match the full £1200 as I dont really know the margin they have, but reckon they could get pretty close to it. That way you get your car from an established local and main dealer, a point of contact should any problem arise and hopefully their ABSOLUTE best deal. Just get a printed quotation and visit them. You will be surprised what they can actually do. Hope this helps.

I did quote the price and they could only get to within £1200 , unless I wanted a pre reg model they had on the forecourt, but was wrong model, different colour etc... but thanks for the insider info ;-), I may try another local dealer first.

Thanks for reply, I did fill out their online enquiry form but am still waiting for a reply, prices seem very similar so will probably give www.new-car-discount.com a try , always good to go on recommendations

I bought my last car via www.broadspeed.com and found them to be almost £2000 cheaper on overall price to change than my local mercedes dealer.

The price made it worth a trip to Coventry to get the car and it was sold to me by the Mercedes dealer in coventry same as all new cars thru broadspeed so worth checking them out for your Citreon if you havent already, the deal also gave me part ex on my existing car without the dealer in coventry seeing it before i turned up to complete the deal and collect the new car.

Very good overall experience and would use them again without doubt.

Filled in the enquiry and already had Birmingham Citroen on the phone with a saving of £2000 on list price, about £1200 less than my local dealers best offer! :w00t:
