I'm looking for a relatively cheap UMPC and was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction.
I have a massive Dell 17" Inspiron, and it is really lovely. However, it is heavy as hell and lugging it to school virtually breaks my back. My school has a partnership with another school, and in the sixth form we have lessons at both. Unfortunately they're on either side of the city, and is about a 20-30 minute walk.
Therefore, I want to get a UMPC for when I need a laptop on the move.
Basically, I just need something that can browse the web, word process, and play flash games and movies (like iPlayer etc.). My budget is £100-200 pounds. Linux is ok I guess, but obviously, Windows would be a plus (easier to network!). WiFi is also a must but I think all UMPCs have it now.
I've been looking at them, and all I can really see is the Asus Eee PC for that price. On the old Pentium M ones, are they really unbearably slow?
Sorry if it feels like I'm asking too much, I'm just trying to be specific as possible.
