Hi all,

Going t'Egypt next week, really wanted some sort of underwater camera.

Was just going to get a couple of disposable ones like

but heard that they are pretty rubbish, will be a shame after spending money on developing.

Seen this digital at argos

Dont know what it would be like, not sure I can even afford £50, any cheaper?...
Need to get it on Sunday at latest

Any advice welcomed

thanks for the info, but by the time i have added postage i may as well go to boots, plus need to make sure i get it on time.

thanks, think i saw a bit of that, weren't they video recorders?
Thanks for the info
I had a Canon case to allow an Ixus to go underwater. So much faffing on to get it on and then so bulky that we only used it once. Went back to film but there has to be some middle ground here where you have a near sacrificial digital camera and SD card (not the one with all your other photos on it !).

Googling come up with http://www.**************/product-info.asp?product_id=33132&tid=frooct as a low cost option with some more here http://www.gadgetsquick.co.uk/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=1&keywords=underwater+cameras&gclid=CIeQjayZip4CFZoU4wodQ0Zupg

Try gadget shops ?
thanks for the info, got the one from argos in the end, very plastic camera, underwater case seems quite good though, guess well see what sort of photos it takes !
Thanks again
