Hi hotukers!

Need to tap into the wealth of knowledge that is HUKD.

This is the situation my vodafone 18 month contract is due for renewal and I am currently on the student anytime125 package which gets me 125 off peak x net mins and unlimited texts i think. My contract is £25 a month but i often use it on peak in a month so bills come to about £30-35 a month.

I don't mind changing networks for good deal as number is not too important to me.

any guidance or info would be great

thank you

Three do 18 months contract for:
£15= 300 units to be spent on texts or messages anytime or network
£18= 500
£21=700
You also get 300 units to be spent for other three customers, skype (if mobile is compatible). They have good selection. Personally I think the nokia 6120 is a winner. It's hsdpa which means is really fast. I own an n95 and when goes on hsdpa it flies. I suppose 6120 is the same but is much smaller, so it'll be good for you. If you go through carephone warehouse you also get £60 cashback using quidco. Also if you ever need it unlimited internet on 3 on the mobile is £5 a month. I use it on pay as you go and I can also connect the laptop if needed. The only downside is that customer service don't always speak good English....But there are lots of three shops around. So in case you can always pop in a shop....
There are also cashback deals, where you send bills to company every a few months and they give you the money back. The one that is very serious is e2save.com. They are part of carphonewarehouse. I have had 3 contracts with e2save they are brilliant. Going through quidco you get over £30 cashback too. It depends on what you need. Just shop around I would say!

By the way you can keep your telephone number: ask for a pac code from Vodafone and you can transfer to whoever you like. No cost for that I must have done 10 times!

Walk into a Vodafone Store and pay £25 for 500 XNet Mins + Unlimited Texts (18 month deal I think) Oh and you'll need to trade in any old phone that turns On!

Vodafone will allow you to choose from 3 low grade phones of which I think the Nokia 6300 is best.

:whistling:

Good luck

P.S. the deal - well in Plymouth - lasts throughout January and I'm going for the Nokia!!!!

You need to say how many mins a month and how many texts you use. Unlimited texts are a waste unless you are doing 500+

You should be able to get a fab deal for £25 if that's what you want to pay - and a brill phone. I thought this deal was fantastic for £30

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/129804/samsung-f700-free-on-12-month-contr/all/all/hot/

BTW - talk to every network - and tell em what you want - mins and texts - and how much you'll pay. Don't get bogged down by what they advertise.

Best of luck - don't take the first offer - and call when you are in the last month of your contract

This bottom deal with phones4u looks a cracking deal if you go through quidco you get an extra £50.
