UPS delivery...Scheduled for today?

Hi all,

Just a quickie....

I have a UPS delivery that shows as "Out for delivery" on the tracking. It is practically 9PM and still no parcel.

Anybody have any thoughts as to what could have happened?

But if the barcode has been scanned by the driver today, which is why it says "Out for delivery" at the moment, surely it should have arrived by now?

Haha! Maybe.

Busy / breakdown / fallen ill.... to name a few things. Can't see how it can help knowing the thoughts of what people have on what may have caused a delay.

I had a delivery from Parcel force that should have been delivered yesterday, didn't arrive till late today. All companies are having issues it seems.

They do work late -and often more than 12 hrs -Hope you weren't after an early night !

I expect it was checked out for van delivery this morning and there wasn't enough time to complete all journeys.

At least it wasn't delivered to a completely different address yesterday like UPS did with the iMac I ordered for work...

Same here, many reasons.

I love to see customers had a short stint as a courier driver then they will understand that not all courier drivers are bad apples in the basket, there are some good honest ones let alone the peanuts they earn. There are certain things in life that are completely out of the driver's hands & some even delivery outside their paid working hours to catch up with deliveries. As always there are two sides of the story.

My uncle used to be a local parcel courier driver/take-away driver & some customers can be very rude with bad manners let alone trying to rip off free meals. One case where a customer decided to shut the door without paying expecting the fast food owner to lose out & the delivery charge. Nice hot slap up meal for the customer but who's paying for the bills. Likewise, the Police was called & the customer was banned from future deliveries let alone any pick ups. :D

Another case where a scummy customer tried to offer fake bank notes to pay for deliveries. oO

Guess he didn't stay in the job for long, let alone turned out, the fast food owner decided it was just wasn't worth the hassle & stopped deliveries.

They are very busy around Christmas time and probably didn't get around to it.

This happened to me today too I sat in waiting too! I'm in northern Ireland. At this time of year you would think they would add more drivers.

It was not delivered as it was not allocated. Will be back at the depot and will be out at a later date.

The time to worry is when you get no parcel and after checking a week later you realise it was handed over to (and signed for) by a Mr Singh (no disrespect to anyone called Singh) and you are called Jones and live on your own in your own property where nobody else has access to.

Then you are in trouble, as in my own personal Ebay nightmare with probably the worst customer one could have ever wished for. :(

Same with me, I live in Derby in the UK and it says it's signed by someone who is called Singh, who is he? I want my package
