USB -> ethernet

Any ideas? I want to get the D7460 printer, which is wireless + ethernet, but the cost is stupid, £130, as it's fairly new and they haven't cut the price yet. The predecessor, the D7360 is basically identical apart from the connectivity, and is £67.50.

How much would it cost to connect it to a router?

You would not be able to connect the D7360 to the router. You would need the ethernet version to do so.

hmm, looks expensive, I think I will get the C5180 all-in-1 with ethernet instead

Yup, and cheaper just to share the printer over the network.

the problem in this case is the printer is full-time, but the computer, a laptop, is not. The printer allows you to print directly from photo card with its LCD touchscreen. The laptop would be in the living room and the printer elsewhere, so printer sharing is not an option.
