Ive used a lot of them and never noticed any difference at all. Wasnt using a stop watch though.

You can also have the option of using them on stuff that wont accept a normal sd card, they are all i use.

There should not be any noticeable difference. The adapter is only small metal contacts that touch the metal contacts on the card to make them bigger and more spread out. There is no special trickery in the device at all. If you ever open one up, apart from 4 small pieces of metal, there is nothing else at all inside.
