Right the Hetty packed up last year and decided to get some cordless Morphy Richards Supervac thing. Needless to say the missus hasnt been too impressed and it does struggle with the cat hair all over the carpet areas. So is there anything out there that will match or improve on the hettys performance? Doesnt need to be cordless really as it will mainly be used for the bedrooms as the other does the laminate fine but would prefer bagless...so any ideas...ive just gone through which? and revoo and amazon for the last 2 hours and still have no idea. Got a budget of say £100 to £150 so hoping to use Black Friday to get the best possible for cat hair on short carpet. Any help would be appreciated ;-)

Thank you that looks good...now im going to sound like a idiot, but how long would the bag expect to last? Should only be doing top floor of a 3 bedroom house? Think ive looked and see the right bags are roughly a pound a pop. Just with 4 cats and 2 messy kids im concerned it will fill up quickly. If they should last a couple of weeks then that should be ok. Sorry for all the questions just dont want to get it in the neck for another year lol

Yes bags will last much longer than 2 weeks (dpending on usage)
We did notice i purchased some cheaper bags of the bay, and the vacuum didnt perform as well as it did.
Then went back to originals and was good again. So it really depends on the type of universal bags you buy as some can be crap

Many thanks again, and the bags should last as only really doing the landing and 3 bedrooms. And cordless or corded whichever gets the job done lol my sister has a bosch one which is on sale at hughes and she says its a charm but she only has one dog rather than 4 cats that seem to perpetually moult everywhere lol link to the bosch one http://www.m.hughes.co.uk/household-appliances/vacuum-cleaners/bch-bgs5pet2gb/product
