Hey all,

My old man wants a new Vape rig for Xmas and I haven't a clue what I'm looking at.

I don't think he does either.

All he has said is that he wants one of the ones with the box rather than a pen like one he has now.

I don't want to spend a fortune but if too pricey I can get someone to go halves with me.

Any help, advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't think so. Is there a difference then

Order from Fasttech and it will arrive before Christmas.

Will be about half the price of UK vape shops.

Personally, I like the Kangertech stuff although eLeaf do some good stuff too.

Innokin SD20 gets good reviews, I have one, and for the price - £25 at Amazon, it's a steal. Pens are rubbish for a male vaper, only fit for girls.

innokin coolfire plus, eleaf istick40tc or 60tc, kangertech topbox or wismec reauleaux.
40watts should be minimum but I would say 60-80w is a sweet spot.
also consider the aspects like battery. many boxes have built in battery, many dont. some batteries can be charged in the device some dont meaning its extra equipment to buy.

Shape mostly you can get variable voltage pens etc with long lasting batteries. The boxes are a bigger square shape and as someone said you sometimes need battery separate

He'll be wanting to get into sub ohm vaping, more vaper and more taste. Personally I have several different makes and boxes and unless you buy cheap then they are much the same when rated at the same power. I would recommend the Innkin cool fire 4 or the 4 plus if you can afford it. Get him the innokin Sub V tank and he will be sorted. The coils for it are about £6 for 5 so among the cheapest available. The Mod (box) has a built in battery and I have seem the coolfire 4 with a SUB G tank for around £27, look at amazon and ebay.

Thanks for all the help / advice. Would it be possible to get some direct links to complete sets/rigs?

eLeaf Pico and Nautilus x would be a good starter setup imo

This would do him to get started, if the tank is not to his liking he can easily change it for something else later on.
Im using the Pico Mod along with a Nautilus tank.

Others are more experienced than me, but I got a kit free last year from these guys (Only the pen type) and it is still going strong. I am not a heavy user or trying to create my own weather front, but its been OK.
