want to buy a new video camera to record my wedding, but like most things i havent a clue where to start, need pointing in the right direction

one that i can easily edit
one that records on dvd or is easily put onto dvd
doenst have to record in hd (i have nothing that has hd)
just something that records good quality and isn't bulky

top budget is around £250, can go higher but want to keep it under this price

There are a few options for camcorders

1). Recording to SD cards - these tend to be ultra small models - based on a 4GB card, it should take approx 2 hours of movie

2)., DVD. Record straight onto DVD discs. Example of a Canon DC330 for £ 149.99

3). Tapes ie: MiniDV - although these are no longer "popular" - personally, I think they are better than the other formats.

thanks for that, gives me more of an idea what im looking for, scared of buying one that has poor viedo quality
